WE ARE HAPPY to welcome new members in all Voice Sections You do not have to read music but you must be able to sing in tune. To help with singing the correct notes we are able to provide audio/ visual teaching tracks!

REHEARSALS are held every Tuesday and we take part in up to 8 concerts a year. In common with the majority of similar choirs, members are allowed to take music on stage. though we do make efforts to sing some pieces from memory

ALL MEMBERS are supplied with legitimate sheet music (not photocopies) together with rehearsal and concert folders. Concert uniforms are provided, though a contribution towards the cost may be requested. Our uniforms are changed from time to time, which is why you’ll see different examples on our website.

THE CHOIR is managed by a Committee consisting of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer together with five elected choir members. Our Musical Director and Accompanist complete the line-up in an advisory capacity.

THERE IS AN ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION to cover our fixed costs such as Musicians’ Expenses, Sheet Music, Room Hire and Choir Insurance. It does vary but it is always very affordable.

If you would like to hear us sing, come along to one of our rehearsals. Please give our Secretary, Helen a call beforehand so that we can make sure we have music to show you when you arrive.
